VANNER will be starring in a new reality program!

“Picnic Time” is a spin-off program of “Peak Time” featuring VANNER’s real-life travelogues. The VANNER members, who have been pursuing their dreams by partaking in idol activities and working part-time jobs at the same time, will be seen taking a break and enjoying their leisure time following their busy journey to the final victory of “Peak Time.”

“Peak Time” is an idol survival show in which teams competed for the chance to become the next “worldwide idol group.” Unlike other audition programs, its contestants consisted of entirely of male idols who already debuted. The show aired from February to April 2023 with VANNER being crowned the final winner.

“Picnic Time” will air on the GOGOSING YouTube channel every Tuesday and Friday at 6 p.m. KST, starting from July 11.

VANNER kicked off the summer with a fierce pictorial for Harper’s Bazaar!

In the magazine’s July issue, members Taehwan, Gon, Hyesung, Ahxian, and Yeonggwang showed off their versatility with a set of photos that highlight their innocence and sensuality at the same time. In the interview that followed the shoot, the members spoke about their recent victory on the survival show “Peak Time.”

Hyesung began, “We decided to compete on the show because the members mutually encouraged one another. Our focus was more on ‘creating performances that people will find memorable’ rather than results.”

When asked about the secret to their perfect teamwork, Taehwan said, “We became familiar with each other’s strengths and charms while putting on over 200 performances during our promotions in Japan.”

Notably, the group won “Peak Time” while working part-time jobs at the same time. Gon commented, “Even now, the attitude we have while putting on a show for one person is the same as if we were putting on a show for 10,000 people. I would be incredibly happy to share a warm, quiet love that lasts for a long time with my fellow members and our fans.”

“Peak Time” winner VANNER signed with Eshy Gazit in the United States!

On June 15, VANNER’s agency KLAP Entertainment shared, “VANNER has signed a contract with CEO Eshy Gazit for their management in the United States.”

Eshy Gazit is a partner of Maverick Management under Live Nation and the CEO of Intertwine Music. He played an important role in promoting K-pop in the United States while working with artists including BTS, MONSTA X, and Tiffany Young.

Eshy Gazit remarked, “I am very happy to be able to work with the group VANNER. I think VANNER is a very promising boy group that can determine the future of K-pop. Their passionate performances on stage seen through the survival show’s broadcasts were very impressive, and VANNER’s fandom in the United States is already gradually growing. I respect their effort for not giving up as well as their talent, and I am really grateful to have the opportunity to work with them as a partner.”

VANNER debuted in 2019 and consists of the members Taehwan, Gon, Hyesung, Ahxian, and Yeonggwang. The group recently competed on “Peak Time” as Team 11:00 and was crowned as the final winning team.

DKB Announces 1st Comeback Since Placing 4th On “Peak Time”

It’s official: DKB is gearing up for their first comeback since “Peak Time”!

On May 24, Brave Entertainment announced, “DKB is preparing a new album, with the goal of a comeback sometime in June. They have already completed filming their music video, and they are currently at the busiest moment of their comeback preparations.”

DKB, who competed on the JTBC survival show “Peak Time” under the name Team 8:00, received lots of love for their high-energy performances and ultimately came in fourth place in the final rankings.

The group’s upcoming return will mark their first comeback in approximately 10 months, following the release of their latest mini album “Autumn” back in August of last year.
