EXO’s Chen is going to hold a wedding ceremony with his wife after three years of being a married couple!

On August 16, SPOTV NEWS reported that EXO’s Chen will hold a wedding ceremony with his wife in October.

In response to the report, SM Entertainment confirmed, “Chen is going to hold a wedding ceremony, which has been delayed due to circumstances, in October.”

Chen announced his marriage in January 2020, and the couple welcomed their first child in April of that year. Then in January 2022, Chen’s wife gave birth to their second daughter while Chen was serving in the military.

Chen and his wife have been unable to hold a wedding ceremony due to circumstances such as childbirth and military enlistment, but the couple is now quietly preparing to hold their belated wedding in October.

Chen is currently gearing up to release his first Japanese solo album “Polaris” on August 17 and for his solo Japanese tour starting on August 19.

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its latest monthly and weekly chart rankings!

Monthly Album Chart
NCT DREAM topped the physical album chart for July with their latest album “ISTJ,” which debuted at No. 1. The Nemo and SMC versions of the album also charted separately at No. 8 and No. 11 respectively.

TREASURE’s new full-length album “REBOOT” debuted at No. 2, while the Nemo and KiT versions of the album charted at No. 12 and No. 60.

NewJeans’ latest EP “Get Up” entered the chart at No. 3, and the Weverse version of the mini album also charted separately at No. 9.

EXO’s latest album “EXIST” debuted at No. 4, while the SMC version of the album entered the chart at No. 10.

Finally, “Boys Planet” group ZEROBASEONE’s debut mini album “YOUTH IN THE SHADE” debuted at No. 5 for July.

Weekly Album Chart
ITZY’s new mini album “KILL MY DOUBT” debuted at No. 1 on this week’s physical album chart, and the TAPE version of the EP also charted separately at No. 12. Meanwhile, Young Tak’s new album “FORM” entered the weekly chart at No. 2.

EXO’s “EXIST” climbed back up to No. 3 this week, while xikers’ new mini album “HOUSE OF TRICKY : HOW TO PLAY” debuted at No. 4.

Finally, NCT DREAM’s “ISTJ” rounded out the top five for the week.

Monthly Digital Chart + Streaming Chart
NewJeans achieved a triple crown for July with their hit pre-release single “Super Shy,” which rose to No. 1 on the overall digital chart, streaming chart, and Global K-Pop chart this month.

The top five songs on this month’s overall digital chart and streaming chart were exactly the same: “Super Shy” took No. 1, followed by (G)I-DLE’s “Queencard” at No. 2, LE SSERAFIM’s “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife” at No. 3, IVE’s “I AM” at No. 4, and Parc Jae Jung’s “Let’s Say Goodbye” at No. 5.

Weekly Digital Chart + Streaming Chart
NewJeans also earned a triple crown on the weekly charts with “Super Shy,” which remained No. 1 on the digital chart, streaming chart, and Global K-Pop chart this week.

Just like the monthly charts, the top five songs on this week’s overall digital chart and streaming chart were exactly the same: NewJeans swept the top two spots with “Super Shy” and “ETA” at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively, followed by BTS’s Jungkook’s “Seven” (featuring Latto) at No. 3, (G)I-DLE’s “Queencard” at No. 4, and Parc Jae Jung’s “Let’s Say Goodbye” at No. 5.

Monthly Download Chart
Lim Young Woong topped the digital download chart for July with his long-running hit “Grain of Sand,” and he also took No. 4 on the chart with his song “Loving You.”

NCT DREAM’s new title track “ISTJ” debuted at No. 2 on the monthly chart, while Jungkook’s “Seven” entered the chart at No. 3.

Finally, NewJeans’ “Super Shy” made its debut on the monthly chart at No. 5.

Weekly Download Chart
TREASURE topped this week’s digital download chart with their new title track “BONA BONA,” which rose to No. 1.

Young Tak’s new title track “FORM” debuted at No. 2 this week, while his B-side “Price” entered the chart at No. 4.

Jungkook’s “Seven” climbed back up to No. 3 for the week, and NewJeans’ “ETA” rounded out the top five.

Monthly Global K-Pop Chart
NewJeans’ “Super Shy” rose to No. 1 on the Global K-Pop Chart for July, while their other pre-release single “New Jeans” entered the chart at No. 5.

BTS’s Jungkook swept the No. 2 and No. 3 spots on the monthly chart with the explicit and clean versions of his solo hit “Seven,” while (G)I-DLE’s “Queencard” stayed strong at No. 4.

Weekly Global K-Pop Chart
The top five songs on this week’s Global K-Pop Chart were exactly the same as last week: NewJeans swept three out of the top five spots, with “Super Shy” at No. 1, “ETA” at No. 4, and “New Jeans” at No. 5.

Meanwhile, Jungkook’s “Seven” held onto both the No. 2 and No. 3 spots with its explicit and clean versions respectively.

Monthly Social Chart
FIFTY FIFTY defended their position at No. 1 on the social chart for July, marking their second consecutive month at the top.

BLACKPINK climbed to No. 2 for the month, while member Jisoo charted separately at No. 4. 

Finally, NewJeans rocketed up to No. 3 for July, and (G)I-DLE climbed to No. 5.

Weekly Social Chart
The top five artists on this week’s social chart were exactly the same as last week: FIFTY FIFTY remained No. 1, followed by NewJeans at No. 2, Jungkook at No. 3, BLACKPINK at No. 4, and Jisoo at No. 5.
