TVING has shared the first sneak peek of its upcoming drama “CEO-dol Mart”!

“CEO-dol Mart” is a new drama about an idol group named Thunder Boys that is suddenly forced to disband due to an unforeseen incident. After losing their hopes, dreams, and careers in the blink of an eye, the members of Thunder Boys unexpectedly wind up running a failing supermarket together.

The drama’s newly released first teaser begins during Thunder Boys’ rookie days, with a music show MC introducing them by saying, “We’re together with a rookie idol group that just debuted this week.”

Five years later, Thunder Boys leader Choi Ho Rang (played by Lee Shin Young) seems surprised to learn from a police officer that he is the owner of a supermarket called “Boram Mart.” However, that isn’t the only surprise in store: it turns out that he owns the supermarket together with his bandmates Shin Tae Ho (EXO’s Xiumin), Jo Yi Joon (MONSTA X’s Hyungwon), Eun Young Min (Choi Won Myeong), and Yoon Sang Woo (Lee Sae On).

As each of the other owners’ names is called out, they raise their hands to say, “That’s me.” The police officer then asks, “Who are all these people?” Shin Tae Ho and Choi Ho Rang look at each other and reply in unison, “Thunder Boys.”

“CEO-dol Mart” premieres on September 15 and will be available with subtitles on Viki. In the meantime, check out the new teaser for the drama below!

EXO’s D.O. has been fined for indoor smoking.

Back in August, EXO shared a video on their official YouTube channel that featured their promotional activities for “Cream Soda” on MBC’s “Music Core.” In the video, D.O. was allegedly seen smoking an electronic cigarette in the MBC indoor waiting room.

As a result, a netizen filed a complaint to the Mapo Public Health Center regarding D.O.’s indoor smoking. In response, the Health Center responded by stating, “Article 9, Paragraph 4, Item 16 of the National Health Promotion Act designates office buildings, factories, and multi-purpose buildings with a floor area of 1,000 square meters or more as entirely non-smoking areas. Violating this regulation can incur a fine of up to 100,000 won (approximately $75).”

The Health Center continued, “Smoking inside the broadcasting company building constitutes a violation. Although [D.O.] and his agency have explained that he was using a nicotine-free electronic cigarette, they were unable to provide evidence of the said product being nicotine-free in the product’s ingredient description and instructions. Consequently, a fine was imposed. The individual involved has pledged to faithfully comply with the law as a public figure in the future.”

BOYNEXTDOOR showed off their dancing skills and K-pop knowledge on “Weekly Idol”!

The rookie boy group appeared as guests on the September 6 episode of the MBC every 1 variety show, where they played a number of fun games and performed their new comeback track “But Sometimes.”

For one of the show’s games, the idols had to guess K-pop songs after listening to just one second of the track. Whenever they guessed a title correctly, the winning team had to dance to a snippet of the choreography for the song, leading to some fun impromptu covers by the members.

The songs that BOYNEXTDOOR danced to included Stray Kids’ “S-Class,” EXO’s “Cream Soda,” BTS’s Jungkook’s “Seven,” and LE SSERAFIM’s “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife.”
