Get ready for former NMIXX member Jini (formerly romanized as Jinni)’s solo debut!

On September 14 at midnight KST, Jini—who has changed the romanized spelling of her name following her departure from NMIXX and JYP Entertainment—unveiled her first teasers for her highly-anticipated solo debut under a new agency.

While Jini has been hinting at her solo debut for some time, she has now officially announced that she will be making her debut with her first EP “An Iron Hand In A Velvet Glove.”

THEBLACKLABEL Denies Rumor Of Former NMIXX Member Jinni Joining The Agency

THEBLACKLABEL has denied that former NMIXX member Jinni is signing with the company.

Recently, an online community post quickly spread claiming that Jinni is signing with THEBLACKLABEL after the poster noticed that the agency’s international marketing director has followed Jinni on Instagram.

On March 20, a source from THEBLACKLABEL denied the rumor, commenting, “It is not true that Jinni is signing an exclusive contract with THEBLACKLABEL. [Both parties] have never even met to discuss the matter.”

Earlier in December last year, Jinni withdrew from NMIXX and terminated her exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment. On March 18, Jinni launched her personal Instagram account, marking her long-awaited return to social media.
