September Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for drama actors!

The rankings were determined through a data analysis of the media coverage, participation, interaction, and community indexes of 50 actors who appeared in dramas that aired between August 12 and September 12.

“My Dearest” stars Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin swept the top two spots on the list at first and second places respectively. Namgoong Min’s brand reputation index for September came out to 4,824,141, while his co-star Ahn Eun Jin’s index came out to 3,872,504.

High-ranking phrases in Namgoong Min’s keyword analysis included “Lee Jang Won” (the name of his character in “My Dearest”), “Yoo Gil Chae” (the name of Ahn Eun Jin’s character), and “My Dearest,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “confess,” “desperate,” and “love.” Namgoong Min’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.09 percent positive reactions.

Third place went to Han Ji Min, who is currently starring in the drama “Behind Your Touch.” The actress earned a brand reputation index of 2,484,684 for September.

The leading ladies of “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” claimed the final two spots in the top five: Yeom Hye Ran took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,184,741, while Kim Sejeong came in at a close fifth with an index of 2,008,169.

“My Dearest” And Its Stars Top Most Buzzworthy Drama And Actor Rankings In Final Week Of Part 1

MBC’s “My Dearest” wrapped up Part 1 as the most buzzworthy drama on air!

In the final week of Part 1, “My Dearest” remained No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

Not only did “My Dearest” top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its leads continued to dominate the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members, where Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin swept the top two spots (at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively).

tvN’s “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” held onto its spot at No. 2 on this week’s drama list, and star Jin Sun Kyu rose to No. 10 on the list of cast members.

tvN’s “My Lovely Liar” climbed to No. 3 on the drama list, with leads Hwang Minhyun and Kim So Hyun ranking No. 7 and No. 9 respectively on the actor list.

JTBC’s “Behind Your Touch” rose to No. 4 on the drama list this week, followed by JTBC’s “Destined with You” at No. 5.

Meanwhile, ENA’s “New Recruit 2” debuted at No. 6 on the drama list this week.

Finally, while the drama list only includes series airing on broadcast television, the newly integrated actor list includes cast members from OTT shows—and “Moving” claimed a whopping five out of this week’s top eight spots. Jo In Sung climbed to No. 3, trailed by Ryu Seung Ryong at No. 4, Han Hyo Joo at No. 5, Go Yoon Jung at No. 6, and Lee Jung Ha at No. 8.
