wavve’s upcoming drama “The Deal” has unveiled a poster featuring Yoo Seung Ho, Kim Dong Hwi, and Yoo Su Bin!

Based on the award-winning webtoon of the same name, “The Deal” tells the story of three former high school classmates in their twenties who get together for drinks for the first time in a long while. However, things take an unexpected turn when two of them impulsively decide to kidnap the other, and the ensuing complications lead all three of them down a dark and turbulent path.

Yoo Seung Ho will star as Lee Joon Sung, who was a rising soccer star during his high school days, but whose dreams have since been shattered. After losing his way for a while, he finally decides to get his life back together—but just as he’s preparing to make a fresh start, he gets caught up in an unexpected kidnapping.

Kim Dong Hwi will play Song Jae Hyo, a medical student whose life seemed stable and problem-free. However, when an unforeseen crisis puts him in danger of having to leave school, he makes a brash decision to resort to kidnapping. Yoo Su Bin will take on the role of Park Min Woo, the only son of a wealthy family, who winds up being kidnapped by his friends.

The newly released poster captures Joon Sung, Jae Hyo, and Min Woo sitting in front of a table covered with cash. Joon Sung’s eyes are filled with agony, and Jae Hyo stares at the camera with a piercing gaze.

Meanwhile, Min Woo, who is blindfolded and tied up, holds a wad of cash in his hands, hinting that he has gone from being a hostage to something more. Between the wad of cash in Min Woo’s hands and the caption “We decided to become accomplices,” viewers can’t help but wonder how Min Woo went from being kidnapped by his two friends to becoming their accomplice.

“The Deal” will premiere on October 6.

Yoo Seung Ho will star as Lee Joon Sung, a former rising soccer star who is just deciding to get his life back together after losing his way, while Yoo Su Bin will play kidnapping victim Park Min Woo, who is the only son of a wealthy family.

Kim Dong Hwi will star in the drama as medical student Song Jae Hyo, who once thought that his future would be smooth sailing and free of bumps in the road. However, his once stable life falls into danger of collapsing when Song Jae Hyo unexpectedly finds himself at risk of being expelled.

In a desperate attempt to stay in school, Song Jae Hyo makes a brash decision: he hatches a scheme to kidnap Park Min Woo and hold him for a hefty ransom.

“Jae Hyo is the character who marks the start of this kidnapping plot,” commented Kim Dong Hwi. “He started the kidnapping plot solely to receive money, but when he goes too far later on, it snowballs out of his control. I think it’d be good to focus on this aspect while watching the drama.”

Meanwhile, director Lee Jung Gon spoke highly of Kim Dong Hwi and his experience working with the actor on set. “We exchange ideas back and forth a lot on set,” shared the director. “He’s an actor who, if I throw an idea his way, will execute it skillfully and with sophistication.”
